What can the Early Years Scheme offer your Nursery?

· Additional funding - for each parent using the scheme, you receive additional funding of £1200 per yearly contract paid in monthly installments. This gives you extra funds for important projects such as re-landscaping a garden, staff training, purchase of children's outdoor play equipment etc.

· It saves parents significant sums of money providing a strong selling point for parents joining your nursery

· The Nursery can offer the scheme to employees who have children at the nursery.

How does the scheme operate?

Instead of the parent contracting for a place at the nursery the employer contracts for places for his employees and pays the childcare fees by standing order.

The employer also pays to the nursery an additional funding per parent per contract called the "Nursery Disbursement Fee". This funding can then be used for projects for the benefit of the nursery as agreed with Early Years Ltd. Legislation dictates that the monies must be spent on the running and upkeep of the nursery. Once you have received the money you must then send an invoice to the employer.

Early Years Ltd is paid to manage the scheme on behalf of the employer. We meet with you to explain how the scheme works. We take a copy of your Ofsted report and registration certificate. We explain the actions that we need to undertake on the employer's behalf. Once you are happy to offer the scheme to the parents at your nursery, we can supply you with literature that outlines the benefits of the scheme for each parent.

Once you have spent the additional Nursery Disbursement funding, we will need to see copies of invoices for goods and services and then we report back to the employer.
